Pączki - Polish favouritedonuts |
If someone on a fat Thursday does not eat at least one donut (Polish - pączek, with no hole inside), he will not be able to have good luck for a year. According to tradition, on a Ffat Thursday Poles are frying, baking, or standing in huge queues for donuts.

The average Pole eats 2.5 donuts on that day. Bakeries are doing everything to let every customer leave as much money that day and buy a lot of goodies. They offer not only traditional donuts with rose or marmalade, but also with chocolate, pudding, cream, attorney, toffee ... In sugar, icing, chocolate, almonds ...

With donuts we need to be careful - one has an average of 340 kcal, 5 g of protein 52 g carbohydrates and 12 g fat. To digest one donut, we should run for about 30 minutes or ride a bike for 40 minutes. You can always choose a less caloric version of donuts.

Instead of frying, you can bake them. Then you will have to run for only 15 minutes.
Enjoy your snack!!!
