St Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is celebrated in southern and western Europe since medieval times. The tradition of Valentine's Day celebrations with Poland went to Poland with the Saint Valentine's from Bavaria and Tyrol but gained popularity only in the 90s of the twentieth century. The name comes from Saint. Valentine, whose liturgical memory in the Catholic Church is also celebrated on that day.
