Paris is definitely the largest city of France, and my personal favourite. There is million facts about it but I would like to interest you in just ten. 


1. On the streets of Paris, average 10 films or commercial photos are taken every day.




2. Paris was originally a Roman city of Luteita.

3. There are 6,100 ruins in Paris.

4. The Tower Eiffel is approximately 300 meters open on march 31, 1889.

5. The Triumphal Arch is anotcher symbol of Paris, wich was created during the French Revolution.

6. The Pantheon in Paris is a former temple located on the Latin Quarter.

7. The Great Masque in Paris is the largesst temple in France.

8. The most visited museum in the world is the Louvre in Paris.

9. There are 450 parks and gardens in the city.

10. The shortest street in Paris is Rue des Degrès, it is only 5,75m long.


Madrid

If you want to visit Spain in winter - to avoid tourists or in summer when it is hot and sunny, you should check out these ten facts:

 1. Madrid is capital of Spain.

2. Spain is the warmest and driest country in Europe. In Madrid, an   average of 200 on 365 days a year is sunny.

3.  The national meal of the Spaniards is paella.

4. This is where the second richest man in the world comes from.

5. La Tomatina is the Spanish battle for tomatoes. It takes place each year on the last Wednesday of August. 

6. In Spain there are more bars, restaurants and clubs than in any  other European country.  

7. The Spaniards sleep the shortest in Europe.

8. The most popular sport in Spain is football and ... bullfighting
  (corrida). 

9. The most popular cites of Spain are; Barcelona,Walencja,Malaga
  and Granada.

10. The Spanish language is mentioned in the top five most commonly  used languages in the world and is also an official language in  23 countries around the world. In the Canary Islands you can    hear the whistle language. In 2009, the language was inscribed on the UNESCO list.
