Santa Claus Who is he?

They say that Santa Claus is known by everybody but I am not fully sure about this. He is perceived as a saint person dressed mostly in red.

His attributes are long white bread, big belly and friendly looking face. It may seem it is easy, but not everywhere in the world-one example is Africa.

In countries like Poland, or Sweden it isn’t difficult to move on a sleigh in the winter, but in regions with warm climate I think it would be a big challenge. I suspect he sometimes flys fast planes or helicopter to get to remote places. He has started giving presents hundreds of years ago, and after some time it became a tradition. Now billions of people in the world continue this tradition as soon as the first star appears on the sky.

What is more, everybody shares gifts between each other and are happy being together. We call him „Santa Claus” but how is he called in other countries?

In UK he is named Father Christmas in Poland Święty Mikołaj in Russia his name is Ded Moroz(Grandfather Frost)in Norway it is Julenissen (Christmas gnome) and in Sweden his name is Jultomten (Christmas brownie).

I hope this year he will visit my whole family and bring many presents for everybody.
