CELEBRATED ON DECEMBER 31 is the celebration of the farewell to the Old year and the welcome to the new year falls on December 31. People are organizing house parties, balls, concerts where they dance, sing and enjoy themselves. When the midnight come, we start the cauntdown. When the clock strickes the midnigt people drink champagne, make cushen and there is a fireworks display.
The celebration lasts till mornihg. Daning the New Years Eve the participauts take part in differeut conterts and dicinatious. The most famous dissipation is connected with the champagne. When we paur the champagen to our glasses the bubbles appear.
If they are big and more quickly it means that the coming year will bring you a lot of changes. But if they are small and move slowly you will have a good health and happiness. The celebration of the New Year was observed even in ancient times. But because of the changes made to the calendar, it's hard to ray, when it was exactly celebrated. However we know, that Before Christ people, were celebrathy the New Your on January 1. It was the date indicated by Julius Ceasar.
Until the XVII century, the Poles were not willing to celebrate the New Years Eve. This tradition appeared in wealthy homes. In Polish villages, there was a tradition of baking special rolls, which were donated to childer. Whereas the adults believed that the full storeroom guarantees good and abundant harvest in the coming year.
