Thanksgiving Day (10 to 1)

Thanksgiving Day has been an annual festival celebrated in the United States of America since 1863.

It is a special moment for families and friends to meet and eat a meal together. The funny thing about holiday is that the date slightly changes every year. Traditionally, Thanksgiving is observed on the fourth Thursday in November and it is one of the most important bank holidays.

People eat :

  • Turkey. Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without the turkey.
  • Stuffing/Dressing. “Stuff” is another way to say “things.”
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Gravy
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Corn
  • Green Bean Casserole
  • Candied Yams

It commemorates the time when Pilgrims came to America and native Americans helped them with food through winter. As a thank you, the Pilgrims had a festive diner for their new neighbors and friends .
